Position Overview:
The hiring organization is seeking an individual who will provide highly responsive and accountable, hands-on operational support and project management for a wide range of general and complex administrative and operational activities within the organization's Employer Services. They will represent participating employers, addressing employer-related matters by researching and resolving questions and issues while communicating and educating on health plan participation, contributions, reporting, compliance, standards, and benefits. Additionally, they will be supporting initiatives, priorities, and projects related to growth and changes in employer participation. They will also be planning and implementing actions and initiatives aimed at improving and sustaining operational efficiency and effectiveness, as well as reducing costs where applicable.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with participating employers.
  • Support onboarding new employers and coordinate with Member Services, Health Promotion, and Outreach teams.
  • Oversee, analyze, and report on operational tasks such as CBAs, eligibility, contributions, enrollment, compliance, and audits to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure health plan-eligible participants and dependents receive timely benefit coverage.
  • Ensure participant, dependent, and employer demographic data are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Ensure employer contributions and accounts are accurate and up-to-date, addressing delinquencies promptly.
  • Review and maintain systems, databases, policies, and forms for compliance and clarity, recommending process improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local health plan regulations (eg., ACA, HIPAA, COBRA).
  • Provide high-quality service to employers, participants, and unions through effective problem-solving and communication.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • ​​​​5+ years of progressive experience in complex project management, administrative, and operational roles, particularly in healthcare and data management.
  • Knowledge of employee benefit plans and regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
  • Experience supporting senior management and Board-level reporting and correspondence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written communication skills for professional documentation and reports.
  • 3+ years in member care or employer outreach services preferred.
  • Experience in health plan administration, finance, data systems, customer care, or related areas preferred.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.

Compensation, Benefits, and Job Structure:
Comprehensive, generous benefits package, including eligibility from the 1st of the month following 30 calendar days of active service, $0 co-premium, medical, dental, vision, prescription, 401(k), pension, life and AD&D insurances, paid time-off (12.5 holidays, 3 personal days, 7 sick days, 5 bereavement days), vacation, legal services, and employee assistance program.
